One repair becomes 3. I took my phone in to replace the screen and back (OEM). Turns out they don't seal it properly. First time the screen got water in and it kept clicking by itself. Second time the back wasn't sealed and now the camera is damaged. Worst still they scratched the back while trying to fix without telling me. When confronting they said he tried to prevent but didn't work. I told them there's water got in but they also didn't try to clean while working on the phone.The phone has been worked on by 3 different individuals so it's a trend. I would rather they take 2 hours or more and do a good job than simply try to piece things back very loosely.in one hour.

I’ve got a complicated relationship with this business. While they were able to recover about 200 GBs of data after water damage to my phone, every single step of the process was made more difficult than it needed to be because of inconsistent communication between the techs and people working at the front. The whole process ended up taking 6 round trips to the store (including the trip to drop off the broken phone and to pick up my restored phone), 3 weeks from start to finish, and multiple phone calls and voicemails before finally being settled with my data recovered. That’s not to mention all the issues with being misquoted (see the original review below). To highlight the inefficiencies of the business, take this example: I dropped off my new phone to have the data transferred on to it at 11 AM on February 8th. I received a call at the number I told them to contact me at around 2 PM asking for my phone passcode (which I had previously told them but whatever). I called back around 5 pm to get an ETA on the transfer as I live 30 min away from the shop and needed to plan when to pick it up. No response, left a voicemail, no follow up. Called again at 6:20 PM, someone picked up, and I was then informed the transfer hadn’t started because I needed to physically come to the store to use my Face ID to factory reset it. I was also repeatedly told upon arriving to reset the phone that I should have come earlier in the day and not so close to closing (I can not express how angry being treated as the idiot hysterical woman made me, especially given that it was in fact the repair shop’s fault for not telling me to come in until I called). Could this have been communicated to me when I first dropped off the phone? Yes. Could they have called me when they first realized they needed my Face ID? Yes. Apparently they tried calling my number-yes, as in, the number for the phone sitting in their shop rather than the number I told them to contact me at. This led to yet another trip to the store the next day when the data transferred finally occurred. These inefficiencies happened at every step (I spent 2.5 hours sitting at a coffee shop in Redmond while waiting for the data to be transferred to an external hard drive, only to call to check in for an ETA and be told the hard drive I was told by the shop to drop off could not in fact be used for the data transfer). It was a beyond frustrating experience that led to a massive loss of time and gas money.The techs, for what it’s worth, seem good at their job. I am genuinely so grateful to have my data from the last four years back, and I appreciate the integrity to honor the original quoted price of $150 (plus $15 I was charged when I picked up my phone for a reason I’m unclear on). That said, they have to find a way to streamline their repair process.—-OG Review:i left my phone for a data recovery following water damage. the person who helped me said it would be a flat rate of $150 and about a week for the process. i asked if there would be any extra fees once the data was recovered, and he assured me there wouldn’t be. two days later, i got a call saying the phone was ready for data recovery, which could take four weeks and that i would owe an extra $450-750. when i called to ask why i was misquoted, i was told the manager would call me later that day or the next day. that was over a week ago. i have called and they don’t pick up. i have left voicemails that they never respond to. i could not have picked a more predatory business: they will intentionally deceive you about pricing, hold your phone hostage, and refuse to speak to you and own up to their mistakes. do not make the same mistake i made and trust them. i’m out a “non-refundable” $150 for a data recovery that never even started.
Quick service and Apple products (iPad and Macbook) repaired were repaired like new condition after they were done. Highly recommend. In August, I took my Pixel phone to this shop to replace the battery because it couldn’t hold a charge and was stuck on the boot screen. They replaced the battery - scratching the edges of the screen and case in the process, but it would at least boot up. The repair cost $100.A few months later in December, the phone would shut down before reaching the home screen and the edge of the screen started separating from the case, so I decided to bring it back for further inspection to see if they could fix it.I dropped off the phone on Monday, 12/2, at 1 PM, and they told me it would take a few hours, promising to call me with an update. I never heard back. On Tuesday, 12/3, I called around 4:30 PM and was told it would take a few hours, and they would call me back later that day. Once again, no one followed up. The next day, Wednesday, 12/4, I called around 12:30 PM, and they gave me the same response—that the tech would look at it and I’d hear back in a few hours. No call ever came.On Friday, 12/6, at 4 PM, I called again. I explained that they had been giving me the same vague answers all week and still hadn’t given me any update or estimate of when I could expect my phone to be ready. I asked about the issue, and they assured me they would call back later that night or the next morning. Yet again, they never called.On Saturday, I went to the shop in person to check on the phone. The person there said the tech who was supposedly working on my device wouldn’t be in until the next day and that my phone was still under diagnostics. I asked to see the phone, and to no ones surprise, it hadn’t been touched since I dropped it off. The label they had put on the screen was still on there (you'd at least take this off if you tried turning on the phone to diagnose the issue), and the device hadn’t been taken apart since the screen and case were still in the same state as when I left it with them. I ended up just taking my device back after leaving it them for 5 days with no updates.The lack of communication and transparency was incredibly disappointing. They repeatedly failed to follow through on their promises, and my phone sat untouched for nearly a week. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this shop to anyone.I could understand if they were busy and hadn't gotten to it yet, but it's unacceptable being jerked around for a week. Their name, One Hour Device Repair, is quite deceptive considering they did nothing for 120 hours.

Took my ps5 in for a repair due to crashing so I let them do their job for a month that they were holding on, they said they replaced the power supply 2 times and no luck so I asked for it back and took it to another shop, the other shop fixed it but they mentioned that the motherboard was tampered with. I was never told about any work on that part so what they did was that they pulled off the pads that normally sits around the CPU on the board that protects from the liquid metal then replaced the liquid metal with thermal paste so the liquid metal no longer wants to sit in its place like it should. Which means the board is less protected than it should be... the other shop did their best to repair that and add another layer of protection in order to prevent further damage. I was told all the original parts was back together but never said anything about the motherboard. Now it's causing the 3 beeps of death and the other shop was able to get it working for a couple hours before it crashed again and might have to replace the whole motherboard, thanks guys.

Especially Issaquah location.Here’s my nightmare experience:* Broken promises: I took my phone in after the back glass broke, and they promised it would be done in a few hours. Guess what? First, they said afternoon… then evening… and finally, “come back tomorrow” after I had drove 40 minutes back and forth each time (losing work hours and wasting gas) because their receptionist guaranteed it would be ready. Spoiler: It wasn’t—and they never even called to tell me to not come in the third time…* Destroyed my screen: When I finally got my phone back, it had a huge black spot on the front screen and the display was completely ruined. The phone had zero issues with the front screen when I brought it in.* Unbelievable blame game: When I asked about the new problem, the employee on-site actually said, “It’s not my fault, I didn’t do the repair.” Then, without telling me, he called the manager—who was the one who had "tried" to fix my phone in the first place! The manager was OFF for the weekend, but that didn’t stop him from screaming at me on the phone, telling me that this was all my fault for dropping my phone in the first place and coming in for repair. Oh, and he had the nerve to say “I wouldn’t have damaged the front had you not brought in the phone to repair to begin with.. it’s because you dropped your phone that this happened so don’t put the blame on me.” 😡* Non-OEM parts without my consent: They tried to replace the front screen with a non-OEM part (which I declined because I need OEM parts for trade-in value) which was their way of “making it right”. Turns out, they had already replaced the back glass with a non-OEM part WITHOUT telling me! They literally didn’t care about informing me about key decisions for my phone.💸 THE FINAL BLOW:
While it has been a few months since this incident, I wanted to warn others that I found out I can’t even trade in my phone at Apple or my phone carrier all because they ruined my phone’s screen and replaced the back with cheap parts. I otherwise would have been offered $450 for my iPhone 13 Pro MAX at Apple or up to $1000 at my phone carrier for a trade-in.📢 WARNING: Do yourself a favor—DON’T BE FOOLED by their low prices. Trying to save $10-$20 on a repair has cost me hundreds, if not more. I should’ve believed the other reviews before going in *especially after looking at what was posted just a few months ago which was when I had gone in*… but I learned the hard way.👉 Don’t make the same mistake. My screen was locked after a phone update. It won't even let me turn off and restart my phone. My phone company suggested I go to One Hour Device Repair. They fixed the problem super fast. The service is excellent and the guy is very friendly. To my surprise he told me it is free of charge. Can't say thank you enough for bringing my phone back to work. If you have an iPhone DO NOT GO THERE!!!They will put in aftermarket parts that are either not 100% compatible, or used or defective, while charging the a higher price (extra $10) as in the Apple Store. And it will cause lots of other problems on your phone!!!After walking out my screen started acting up. Apparently they messed that part up and replaced the screen without asking me. Now it’s not working properly. Lines across it, the typing sensitivity is off, the pages jump up and down on their own,it goes dark during phone calls,And looks like it’s burning out.Do not go there if you have an IPhone.You might have the repair done in 30 minutes, but it’s likely You’ll be needing to buy a new iPhone shortly after.If you need a part replaced, you are better off going to the Apple Store or an authorized apple dealer.
I always saw this shop growing up around Redmond but not until my iPhone 11 screen got smashed (and that WAS my backup phone). Got it done quickly and with good communication.Why they stood out was 6 months later (maybe even longer) the screen was having some lil streaks and stuff. Very random. They just told me to drop it off. I wasn’t sure what the plan was or if I had to pay hah. Went by next day to see watsup (they had wanted to talk to manager) and they give it back with a beautiful new screen “under warranty” hah. Don’t get quality/integrity a ton these days so hell yes. A two hour job turned out to be 11 HOURS!! We came for a phone data recovery to put on a new phone. We dropped off our phone with a guy in the morning and he quoted 2-3 hours it should be done.Called in after 3 hours, they said the original phone battery was too low so it'll take another 2 hours.Physically show up 3 hours later to make sure our phone is being worked on. Come to find out, they put SOMEONE ELSE phone data on our new phone because the first guy in the morning MIXED up our phones. The new guy that was there,Tim, was very helpful and apologetic. And worked to correct the issue as soon as he could.Should've gave the guy in the morning 0 stars and Tim 5 stars for fixing the other guys mistakes.

I just thought they are called one hour repair because they take one hour to repair stuff but that's not true and I understand. Kept it very simple. Dropped my broken phone off and they ran a diagnostic free of charge and while they were doing so the parts seemed to fix themselves, so I was not charged anything and my phone is fixed.

Went in with an ipad problem and had it solved in minutes! at no charge! it was something simple, but it got me up and running. They rock!
I took in my old Moto to get the charging port replaced. The screen was damaged during the repair with a dime-sized white spot on the screen (it happens, phones are not designed to be repaired - I looked it up before taking the phone in and you have to use a heat gun to melt the glue on holding the screen on, then pry it off the body of the phone - I sure couldn't do it). They offered me a discount on the repair to take the phone back as-is but I requested that the screen be replaced. They did that without argument and at no extra cost to me. Parts for old phones are hard to come by. It took a long time for them to get the new screen and return the phone to me, but they did return it to me in great shape. Everyone was friendly and the repair cost exactly what they told me up front. Most importantly to me, they acted with integrity and stood by the original quoted repair cost despite the need to replace the original screen.

RUN AWAY NOW unless you want to throw away money!!!. I worked with both Issaquah and Redmond. I've never left a bad review before but this was so bad, I had to. Things happen, but this company is ripping people off. It's a long story but, in short, 2 months with multiple fixes and then re-repairs with no ultimate success. Took my money and I have a non-working phone. They won't return my calls or chats to try to get a refund per their 'warranty' (which is a joke) and you can't e-mail them via their broken website. Beware the promises of 'I'll get back to you' (doesn't happen) or 'I'll talk to the manager' - which is just a deflection technique to get you off the phone and send you into the black hole of zero communications. No customer service and no trust in their business practices. If it was worth it, I would take them to small claims just to make a point. Don't keep these people in business - go somewhere else!!!!

They gave me the laptop back to use (plugged in) while they ordered a battery.There battery came in the very next day. I stopped by, and they replaced the battery in less than 30 minutes.Extremely easy, no pain. Great service!

Murphy here. These guys fixed my work phone quick and easy for a galaxy s10. Not much fancy I have but it's my work phone and they were able to get it up and running again. Was also pretty much last minute before they closed doors for the night, they were also attentive too the proper screen that needed to be put back in the phone because I've had it fixed at another shop but they put the wrong factory screen in which I knew but they clarified it. Stopped by with an iPhone that suffered salt water damage. The tech opened up the phone and connected a new screen. She found it worked but the water had gotten into the sim port and the transceiver which was beyond repair. She was able to update my iCloud backup so I could transfer data to a new phone. Thanks!!

I have this customised iPhone XR which most of repair shops in Lynwood denied to work upon as it was something they don’t know. Or most of the shops were charging 60$ for just labour (opening the phone etc).One hour people told me on phone they will evaluate it for free and if it does not need replacement ,they will not charge me anything.The girl named Alex fixed it within 25 mins, the power button was not working and she told me that it was loose screw inside.She did not charged me even a single penny.Thank you one hour people , you guys are awesome. Worst experience ever. My iPhone back glass was broken and I gave it in this store to replace with a new one. They took a week to replace and as you can see from the photos it is pathetic. It's the worst repair one can do. Gaps in the fixture, paint scratched off the corners.Even more worse is the customer service. When I asked about it, they said, it's expected. They didn't even tell me when they took the phone that this is how it's going to look like. And the store employee carelessly said "What do you want me to do about it?". I asked him to suggest what to do and he said "I don't know". I asked for a refund and he said that he is not authorized to do that, which is reasonable and he told me to call the store the next day and talk to his manager. I asked him, when should I give a call to talk to his manager and he said "I don't know when he'll be available". What is the expectation here? I keep calling them every few hours till the manager is available? When I asked the same question he said "I don't know".He was so reckless in his response.And to support him there was another lady (customer) behind me supporting that guy and telling me that damage was already done and he can't do anything and why am I complaining. I don't even know why she interfered and kept on talking. They billed me around roughly $100 for this. It's not just about money, my phone is looking pathetic now and I expect the employees to treat customers with respect and provide good customer service. Worst experience ever!!!!!

Awesome place with great service and friendly staff to get your mobile problem fixed. She did not even charge anything for her dedicated work of more than 30 min. She said that they do not charge for inspection.My pixel6 got into water and after that it was not able to switch on. I was able to see the charging on display when I put the charging cable. But as soon as I switch on, it auto switched off.I went to the shop. She said that water problem cant be fixed still she said she can look into it and said come back after 30 mins. Once we came back, the mobile was working.From next time, any mobile related issues, I know where I have go without any second thoughts.

Small compacted chill space with a two seater couch. The front desk kid is very friendly. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to various (silly) questions. The team seems like they're cool with each other. I waited there for 45mins and they were able to diagnosis the issue with my soaked phone. Sadly everything was eroded, but they were friendly and helpful with the entire process. If you ever decide to recover any data from a phone, your starting price would be at least $129, so good luck :)

Something was wrong with the hardware though and the phone died again and Alex really tried hard to get my data to atleast get backed up. Unfortunately the phone refused to work for us and i couldnt back up most of my data but i am very grateful for Alex and her colleague to try and help me out. They really understand your problem and are very helpful. They were very gracious and didnt charge me as they didnt replace any parts. They easily spend 5-6 hours on the phone trying to get it back up. I highly recommend this place for any repairs for your phones or laptops.
If I could give you a six star review I would. Once again One Hour Device Repair assisted me with something Verizon said that they themselves could not do. Then by driving up the street to One Hour Device Repair in Redmond, they immediately finished the job that Verizon would not do...but could have done. It took O.H.D.R. just minutes to finish my job...then they offered to do it for FREE when I asked them, "How much do I owe you?" No business should work for free, especially when the customer is being provide A grade customer service. My LG G8 battery was dying. Randomly losing 30-60% charge on restart, sometimes randomly shutting down and claiming 0% a few seconds after I took it off the charge cable.I went to OHDR and explained ("it's going to die right after I take it off life support") and they ordered a new battery shipped within 3-5 business days.They signed me up for free updates over text message and email, so I knew when they ordered, when it arrived, when I could come in, etcI handed off my G8 to the lady at the counter, it was ready within an hour, it's worked perfectly ever since. This review is about a week after.

These guys are amazing . I had done service with them 2 times . First time I broke my glass for my iPhone 10. They fixed it 30min . Recently my iphone13 won’t boot up . They said i might need a battery change Which might take 1-2hrs . They checked everything when I went to pick it up , they didn’t charge me anything . They had opened and realigned the part and it worked . They must have spent 30min -1hr diagnosing thing but were gracious to not charge me anything since they didn’t replace any parts . Great people; family owned and run. My phone had forgotten my PIN (same PIN I'd used since I got the phone) and I was down to my last attempt before it would automatically do a factory reset. Lots of data on the phone that wasn't backed up - largely my bad, but also things that wouldn't be automatically backed up. I had talked to the maker and the carrier - no joy, and their only suggestion was to try a repair shop. Carrier store recommended One Hour, so there I was.The very pleasant woman behind the counter listened to my tale of woe - "let me see what I can do". They weren't lacking for business while I was there, but no "come back in an hour", or "…tomorrow".She worked at it for most of an hour, occasionally interrupted for other business, obviously tried every avenue she knew to access the phone, but couldn't crack it."Sorry…", and didn't charge anything for her time (which I felt guilty about later after I left).With any luck I won't need their services in the future, but if something goes wrong I know where I'll take my phone!

I took my son’s phone there when the power button was stuck due to the metal casing being bent after dropping it. Not only did they fix it for me, but they did not charge due to causing some scratches in the case when they had to grind out some metal to make the repair. You generally tend to read the worst reviews of any location first and bite your fingernails over things like price, privacy, and quality.Today I had cracked my brand-new iPhone 11 screen I *just* had repaired for digitizer issues from Apple for $200. I was rightfully devastated and considered shelling out the $200 and heading back to Apple again. Luckily, this place was open on the 4th of July and although the clerk who was there today was clearly busy, he assured me he could have it done for much cheaper than Apple.Aside from a very small delay (20 minutes) that occurred from a previous customer’s repair, it was extremely professional, prompt, and most importantly, functional. It’s only been a short while since I picked up the phone but I’m extremely satisfied with the service and the price I paid for it. Cory was able to transfer the bios flash chip from a hard drive PCB I fried to a new PCB in a matter of minutes. Now my drive works again! Recommend these guys for any odd one off soldering jobs in the Redmond area.
Initially I was pleased with the screen repair they did for about $200. However, after 2 weeks the new screen had vertical lines. One would assume this would fall under warranty. I was informed no, that the screen was damaged. The screen was not damaged though. There was not a crack nor any impact that occurred. I could understand if I showed up with a screen that had a large crack in it, that would not be covered. But with a screen that clearly was not externally damaged one would expect it to be covered. Update: After talking with the owner who reached out after my post, it was determined that a mistake was made, and the display should have been covered and they are now repairing it.
The place is amazing and Alex was the Hero of the day if not week or month! She got my screen replacement done in about 30mins even with it being a extra difficult curved cellphone screen of a galaxy note10+.
