These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by One Hour Device Repair (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, in-store services, and related communications. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
We provide cellphone and electronic device repair services. We will diagnose the issue with your device and provide an estimate for the repair. Repairs will only be performed after you approve the estimate.
2. Estimates and Payment

Estimates are based on our initial assessment. If additional issues are discovered during the repair, we will notify you and obtain your approval before proceeding.

Approval may be provided in writing or verbally.

Payment is due upon completion of the repair.

A diagnostic fee may apply if you decline the repair after diagnosis, to cover the technician’s time and expertise.
3. Data Loss
You are solely responsible for backing up your data before submitting your device for repair. While we take precautions, we are not liable for any data loss or corruption that may occur during the repair process.
4. Warranty
We offer warranties that vary by the type of repair service performed. Warranties cover defects in workmanship and replacement parts during the applicable warranty period.
Warranty does not cover:

Accidental damage, misuse, or liquid damage

Unauthorized modifications

Devices tampered with or opened by third parties
To make a warranty claim, return the device to us along with proof of purchase.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the repair service.
We are not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Lost profits or lost data

Loss of device use
Some states do not allow limitations on certain damages, so these exclusions may not apply to you.
6. Abandoned Devices
Devices left uncollected for over 90 days after repair completion may be considered abandoned. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you via phone and email.
If still uncollected, we may dispose of or sell the device to recover costs incurred.
7. SMS/Text Messaging
We use SMS/text messaging (via our POS system) to communicate:

Promotional offers (only with express consent)
Consent: By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages. Consent may be given verbally.
Opt-Out: Reply “STOP” to any message to unsubscribe.
Message Frequency: Varies; mostly for service-related updates. Promotional messages are limited and sent only to those who opt in.
Message and Data Rates: Standard carrier rates may apply.
10DLC Compliance: We follow all 10-Digit Long Code regulations.
We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved under applicable laws and procedures of the State of Washington.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms represent the complete agreement between you and One Hour Device Repair and override any prior communications or agreements.
11. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.
